Who I Am

It all began the day I put the bottle down for good.

Seven years ago, I woke up with one clear thought: if I can rebuild my life, I’ll spend the rest of it helping others rebuild theirs. Recovery was the first step, but what followed was a journey into identity, healing, and rediscovery that would reshape everything I understood about transformation.

I noticed a common thread in every story of pain, grief, burnout, abuse, culture shock, and depression: a quiet ache that whispers, “I don’t know who I am anymore.”

That whisper became my mission.

The Journey to This Work

I’m a counselor, coach, and guide but more than that, I’m someone who has personally journeyed through unraveling and found my way back to peace.

My decision to quit alcohol cold turkey wasn’t just about becoming sober; it was about reclaiming who I truly am. That choice opened a door to deeper questions: Who was I beneath the coping mechanisms? What did healing actually look like? And how could I help others navigate their own journey of becoming?

I trained in counseling and cognitive behavioral therapy, worked closely with women recovering from domestic violence, and supported individuals navigating major life transitions. I’ve sat in living rooms, led self-awareness circles, and met clients under umbrellas always starting with the same question: Who are you becoming?

This practice was born from my own becoming. I don’t sit across from you with a clipboard. I walk beside you. I’ve lived through addiction, identity loss, and the quiet rebuild. My role is to hold space, listen deeply, and offer tools that bring clarity, hope, and a renewed sense of self.

My Professional Training

Now, as a certified counselor and identity transition coach, I combine lived experience with deep psychological insight and empathy to support others on their own journey of transformation.

My specialized training includes:

  • General Counseling – Foundation in therapeutic principles and practice
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Evidence-based approaches to thought and behavior patterns
  • Depression Support – Specialized understanding of mood disorders and recovery
  • Grief & Bereavement – Expertise in processing loss and transition

Over the years, I’ve walked alongside women escaping abusive situations, people wrestling with cultural displacement or identity loss, and young adults searching for clarity beneath societal expectations. My work is grounded in listening deeply, holding space tenderly, and honoring the power of new beginnings.

Why This Work Is Different

I don't offer perfection,I honor the process

This isn’t about achieving some ideal version of yourself. It’s about coming home to who you already are, beneath the layers of survival and adaptation.

My Personal Philosophy

I believe that feeling lost in your own life shouldn’t be your new normal. I believe that every person has an innate wisdom about what they need to heal and grow. I believe that identity isn’t fixed,we are always becoming, and that process deserves support, not judgment.

I believe healing needs safety, not pressure. I believe in the power of being truly seen and heard. I believe that sometimes the most radical thing you can do is slow down, breathe, and remember who you are beneath all the noise.

Most importantly, I believe that who you are becoming matters not because of what you produce or achieve, but because of the light you bring to the world simply by being authentically, unapologetically yourself.

This isn’t just a business,it’s a bridge. A bridge between breakdown and breakthrough. Between “Who have I become?” and “I remember who I am.”

Seven years ago, I was lost in my own life, using alcohol to numb the disconnection from myself. Today, I wake up each morning grateful not just to be sober, but to be genuinely excited about who I’m becoming and honored to witness others’ becoming as well.

If you’re reading this and something resonates, know that you’re not broken. You’re not behind. You’re not too much or not enough. You’re exactly where you need to be to begin the gentle journey home to yourself.

I would be honored to walk that path with you.
